This is my last week as Country Manager of YGG Pilipinas. It’s been one hell of a ride, and I wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation to everyone that I got to work with during this crazy time. Unexpected outcomes are the name of the game in the crypto world, and being able to embrace great change is the key to survival.
I recognize that I'm not the right guy to lead YGG Pilipinas as it continues to expand and refine its focus. I've always been more of a builder than a marketer -- one role is not more important than the other -- and it would be a disservice to the community if I continued on in a position that I was not suited for.
As YGG Pilipinas moves on to its next stage of growth, I’ll be cheering the team on from the bleachers. My belief in the YGG mission has not wavered one bit with my departure, and I know that the team I'm saying goodbye to will continue to thrive and empower an even larger community than ever before.
Thank you to Gabby & Mench, Beryl, Owl, Colin, Nolan, Andy, Jen, Mike, and all the wonderful folks at YGG core. Thank you to Kat & Nathan, Phee, Brylle, James, Rehts, Albie, Pabz, Sendo, Spraky, ABCD, Kevs, TitoA, Regina, Julie, Jenna, Sedano, Kookoo, Shanks, Een, Archer, Nathan & Leah, and the many friends and partners that we got to work with at YGG Pilipinas.
To the YGG Pilipinas team – you guys are heroes and I'm your biggest fan.
And of course, thank you to the community. There’s literally not enough space to mention all of you, but know that the Filipino crypto community has always been my biggest source of inspiration, motivation, and knowledge.
I’ll still be around – you couldn’t really get rid of me if you tried – but I’ll be knocking out the scammers and rug-pullers without the YGG patch on my boxing shorts from now on. I'll be trying out a few new ideas over the coming months, and if you find whatever I produce useful, I would be grateful for the support.
